This guide assumes that you have already setup your M1 on the network, it must also be assigned a static IP address, you can do this either manually on the M1EXP, or via your DHCP server as a static reservation.
Step 1 - click the Add button under the M1 icon.
Step 2 - Enter the IP address of the M1 controller (please note that the Secure/SSL Port is NOT supported by this product), and the user pin code to be used, then click Next.
Step 3 -The connection to the M1 will be established, once confirmed, click Next to proceed.
Step 4 - The automationbridge will now connect to the M1 and retrieve the available devices, zones, tasks etc. This may take up to 5 minutes to complete.
Step 5 - Once the discovery is complete, you will be presented with a listing of the devices, here you can choose if the device is to be added, when ready click Next to proceed.
Step 6 - The devices will now be added to your controller, Zone will show as Motion Sensors, Outputs as a switch, likewise with any Tasks, these will be added as a switch, that will turn on momentarily.
Step 7 - You will now be taken to the plugin settings page, from here you will be able to update the M1 connection details.
- The Sync M1 button will update the plugin with any new devices in the M1.
- The Sync Fibaro button will then update Fibaro with any newly added or enabled/disabled devices. (HC3 only)
You can also edit each M1 device, and amend/adjust its name if required.
For Fibaro HC3 - Each M1 Area will come into the larm panel as M1_{AreaName}. If you arm the Fibaro Zone or the entire House then the M1 will be armed to match, likewise when disarming in Fibaro the M1 will disarm.
This completes the M1 setup, now you can navigate back to the home page of the automationbridge, and enable as required for each device and smart home integration.
