To link the automationbridge to your Alexa account, make sure that you have enabled some devices via the automationbridge home page, then just follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Open the Alexa app on your phone/tablet and press on the menu icon at the top left.
Step 2 - Press on the 'Skills & Games' link.
Step 3 - Press on the search icon at the top right.
Step 4 - Enter automationbridge into the search field, and then select the skill.
Step 5 - Press on the 'Enable' button.
Step 6 - Enter your automationbridge account username and password and then press the Login button.
Step 7 - Your account details will now be verified and if successful, the following will display, you can close this window as advised.
Step 8 - You will now need to perform a device discovery, click on the Discover devices button.
Step 9 - Once the discovery process has been completed, just go thru and setup each device as prompted.
This completes the Alexa setup process.
If you enable or disable devices in the bridge, after the initial account linking, either ;
- Via the Alexa App, Select the Devices tab, then click the + icon at the top right of the Hone page, Choose Add Device, Choose Other, and then press the Discover Devices button.
- Via the Web Portal (alexa.amazon.com, alexa.amazon.com.au, may be different depending on your country), navigate to Smart Home, Devices, press the button 'Forget All' and then the 'Discover' button.
