First of all connect the automationbridge to your home network using the supplied network cable. Then connect the power supply.


The automationbridge will then automatically start up, please wait for 2-3 minutes for this to happen, then using a web-browser go to https://mybridge.skaro.com.au


Step 1 - You will then be prompted to register your device, this will then send you a verification email to complete the setup process, click the link in the email to finalise the setup and then you will be directed to the home page of the automationbridge.


Step 2 - You will then be prompted to select your home automation platform, click the image for the Home Assistant.


Step 3  - Now go to your Home Assistant interface (in a seperate browser window), login in, and then click your Profile icon at the bottom left of the Main Menu, then scroll to the Long Lived Access Tokens section, and create a Token.


Step 4 - Give it a name, for example automationbridge and click OK.


Step 5 - Now copy this token,


Step 6 - Return to the automationbrdge interface, and enter it in the Token field on the automationbridge, along with the URL for your Home Assistant (same as you used to gain access in Step 3), including any port number as per the following example.

Step 7 - Select your time zone, and enable the required services.


Upon completing the page, and clicking Next, the automationbridge will make sure that it can connect to your HA Controller, and if successful, will prompt you to reboot the device.


Please wait until the reboot is complete.


You will then be presented with the home page of the bridge, just enable the devices as required for your chosen voice platform.


Once you have enabled all the desired devices, you now need to link the automationbridge with your voice platform.

It is highly recommended that you set a static IP address on the bridge, this can be actioned from the Settings page, change the IP Mode dropdown to STATIC and ensure that the correct network settings are entered.
