✅ Fibaro HC3/HC3L
✅ Fibaro HC2/HCL

✅ Standalone

This guide assumes that you have already setup your C-BUS network, and can access it via the C-BUS Toolkit. You will also need to make sure that your C-BUS network interface device (CNI,SHAC etc) has been setup with a static IP address.

This plugin is only available in the PRO version of the automationbridge.

Step 1 - You will need the C-BUS Project XML file to proceed, if you do not have this file, then using the C-BUS toolkit, connect to the C-BUS network, and then copy the project file from the clipsal/c-gate/tag folder.
DO NOT EDIT THE FILE OR RENAME IT!

Step 2 - On the Plugins page of the automationbridge, click the Add button under the C-BUS icon.

Step 3 - You will now be required to upload the C-BUS project XML file, this file contains all the required information for the network connectivity and the available C-BUS devices. Click the Choose file button and then select your XML file. Click Next to proceed.

Step 4 - Your XML file will then be processed, and if valid, the following confirmation will show, click Next to proceed.

Step 5 - You will be presented with a screen to configure how each device is presented (by default all devices will be enabled as a Switch/Relay, as we are not able to determine the exact device type from the C-BUS network)

Now select the correct Type from the right hand drop-downs, this is required so that the correct device can be created in your Fibaro controller, when done, click Next to proceed.

Step 6 - The devices will now be created in your Fibaro controller, you will be presented with a summary screen

--If you are using the Fibaro HC2/HCL controller, the summary screen will show like this, also showing the global variable that has been created for each device.

-- If you are using the Fibaro HC3 controller, the summary screen will show like this.

You must now reboot the automationbridge, so that all the required C-BUS connectivity services can be started correctly.

Step 7 - Once the automationbridge has restarted, navigate to the Plugins page, and click the Settings icon for the C-BUS plugin. This will then show the configured devices, from here you can edit each device, changing its name and device type if required. Please note : If you are using the HC3 controller, and you modify the device type, the Fibaro object will be deleted and re-created with a new ID number.

-- If you are running the Fibaro HC2/HCL controller you will now see that all the Virtual Devices have been created, switches & lights will show like this,

Dimmable lights will show like this,

-- If you are running the Fibaro HC3 controller, you will find all the devices have been added, as either a Switch, Light or Dimmable Light or Roller Blind.

For the Voice platforms, the lights will be presented as such, however for the Switches, you can customise how these are presented, after you have enabled them from the home page, just go to each of the Voice platform and you will find a settings button beside the device type, click this and you can modify the presented device type to suit.

If you are using HomeKit, you will have extra options to present this as a Blind, Door Lock or Garage Door.
