The installer account can be used when registering a device for the first time, to allow you to setup with the required controller and any other configuration that is required.

 

To do this, when setting up new bridge, just click the installer icon at the top right of the 

registration widow. 

 

 

You will then be presented with a different page, where you can enter the email address and password for your installer account. 

 

 

 

 

Clicking Register Device will complete the process as normal. Once this has been done and the bridge restarted, you can continue to configure as required. 

 

You can link to Google/Alexa using the installer account details to fully test out the voice functions and anything else that is required.

 

Plugins can be purchased at this stage, as they are linked to the serial number, and will therefore transfer across in the handover process.
