✅ Fibaro HC3/HC3L

✅ Fibaro HC2/HCL
✅ Standalone

This guide assumes that you have already setup your IP camera on the network, it must also be assigned a static IP address, you can do this either manually on the camera, or via your DHCP server as a static reservation.

This plugin is only available in the PRO version of the automationbridge.

Please note that the following camera types should be auto-detected by the plugin, if not then please contact Skaro Technology support for assistance.

- D-Link

- Hikvision (click here for the correct settings)

Other camera types may be supported, if you know the correct URL's for the snapshot JPG, the MJPEG URL (needed for Fibaro) and the RTSP URL (needed for HomeKit). The following guide is using a D-Link camera, the URL's shown wil be different for your model.

NOTE : SSL/HTTPS cameras are not supported due to their use of self-signed certificates.

Step 1 - Add the plugin via the Network Devices/Plugins page

You will then be asked if you want to add a new IP camera, or to work with the existing IP cameras that you may have setup in your Fibaro already. Further cameras can still be added later on.

Step 2 - If you have selected to Import the existing cameras, please skip down to step 5.

If you have selected to connect your first IP camera, enter the details for the camera in the form.

NOTE : That if you are using a IP camera, that has its authentication in the URL stream, eg Foscam, do not enter the username and password into the fields, just have it in the URL

Step 3 - When you click next, the automationbridge will try and connect to your camera, and if identified as a known device, the the form will be completed for you, if its not a known camera model, then you will be given the option to manually enter the URL's

Step 4 - If you see the snapshot and the details appear to be correct, click Continue to proceed.

Step 5 - The camera will then be added to your Fibaro controller, and confirmed.

Click OK to proceed to the settings page, from here you can perform a Sync (this will update the VD's with any name & URL changes)

You will also be able to add additional cameras.

In your Fibaro controller, you will now find the new native Camera device.

At this time, cameras are only supported and presented into the HomeKit platform, you will now be able to do this from the home page of the automationbridge pro, just enable and then restart HomeKit using the blue button at the top of the page.

You will now find this listed on the iOS Homekit page as a camera.

To add the camera to HomeKit, please follow the below steps.

Step 1 - Press the Add (+) icon at the top right of the iOS Home app, then choose Accessory.

Step 2 - Press the button 'I Dont Have a code...'

Step 3 - You will find that the camera is listed in the available accessories

Step 4 - You will get a warning that this is an uncertified accessory, click Add Anyway.

Step 5 - Enter the HomeKit code, this can be found on the iOS HomeKit page of the automationbridge pro.

Step 6 - The camera will now be added to the Home platform, assign to the correct room then click Done.

This completes the setup and use of the IP Camera plugin. If you want to add more cameras in the future, just navigate to the Settings page, Click the Add button, complete the above processes, enable the camera from the home page of the bridge, restart HomeKit and then add as above.

If you have a specific camera type that is not being detected, or are unsure of the URL's please log a support ticket outlining the camera make & model, and we will investigating adding it to the plugin.
