As from v2025.06, the automationbridge can now send emails as part of the Actions (Notifications) module.
An example use case, would be to send email alerts when devices are online/offline, or their state changes.
To set this up, navigate to the Actions page, and click the Enable button in the Email section.
You are then presented with a confirmation, that its now enabled.
Next, you need to setup email destinations to be used in the action rules, to do this click the Add button
Then, enter a name and email address (example below), then click Add.
This now adds this email address to the list of available destinations.
Now, to setup an email notification action, click the Add button on the Actions section, then select Send an Email, and then pick the device you want to use as the trigger.
Next, select the action for our chosen device (this example uses the Network Monitor plugin), and then select the email destination.
Click Next and then Update to complete the setup of this action, here you will now see the action listed.
When this event is triggered, you will then get an email like so.
