In order to use the Inception plugin for the automationbridge, a user account needs to be defined in Inception, with the correct permissions.

Step 1 - Log into your Inception controller, and navigate to Configuration, Users, Manage Users, and click Add.

Step 2 - Give the user account a name, eg automationbridge

Step 3 - Next expand the Permissions tab, and click Add Items to select the objects that will be available to the automation to control/monitor, click Select Visible to add them all, then click Confirm.

Step 4 - Next expand the Remote / Web Access section, and tick enable Web Login and then enter a username (automationbridge) and enter a password, and change the Web Page Profile to REST Web API User.

Step 5 - Now Click Save at the bottom of the page, and this completes the User Setup.

If you get errors while adding the plugin 'You do not have permission to control items of type..' then you will need to check the permissions of the RESP API User profile, to do this, navigate to Configuration, Web Page Profiles, and select the REST Web API User.

Next, select Items Editing Permissions, and check the permissions on the required object, eg Doors & Outputs (as these may be set to None by default), and change to View Only or Modify.

Note : If you find that the Outputs are not showing in the list of available objects, then navigate to Configuration, Outputs, Hardware Outputs, and ensure that the User Controllable option is turned on.
