The Alexa Voice Notification service allows you to broadcast notifications from your controller to alert users of events or actions, for example announce that someone has opened a door, or that a door is still open after an amount of time.

Please note that announcements will only work to native Amazon devices, they do not work with 3rd party smart speakers such as the Sonos One.

To set this up, please follow the steps below.

1.    Navigate to the Notifications page, and click the button to enable the service.

2. Select the correct country for your amazon account.

3. Click the button to authenticate with your Amazon account, this will open in a new popup window.

4. Enter your amazon account details and click Sign In.

5. If successful, the following will be displayed and the popup window can be closed.

6. Back in the automationbridge window, it will wait until the authentication has been fully completed before proceeding to the next step, and will display the following, click Next to proceed.

7. The available supported speakers will then be retrieved from your account

8. The speakers will then be displayed, allowing you to test before confirming the setup is complete.

9. If the test was successful, proceed and this completes the setup, and your Alexa devices can now be selected for notifications.
