Before you begin this setup process, you must ensure that your RTI device has been setup with the HTTP Server Driver, and you have exposed the actions for need to support, eg devices on/off.

See the attached documents to this guide, for more info on the RTI HTTP Server Driver.

First of all connect the automationbridge to your home network using the supplied network cable. Then connect the power supply.

The automationbridge will then automatically start up, please wait for 2-3 minutes for this to happen, then using a web-browser go to https://mybridge.skaro.com.au

You will then be prompted to register your device, this will then send you a verification email to complete the setup process, click the link in the email to finalise the setup and then you will be directed to the home page of the automationbridge.

You will then be prompted to select your home automation platform, click the RTI button.

Next enter the details of your RTI controller, usually this is just the IP address and port (80), and select your required voice services, and click Next.

Upon rebooting the automationbridge, you will be presented with an empty home page, you will need to manually add the required devices. to do this just click the + button in the Available Devices section.

You will be prompted to select the RTI controller you wish to use (multiple controller's can be used with the automationbridge, these can be added via the Settings page)

Next give the device a name, and then enter the URL's that you created in RTI HTTP server interface, for example.

Then click the Add button, you will then be returned to the Home page, and will be able to enable this device for your voice platform. You will also be able to edit the device, if you need to change its name or action URL's.

By default all devices are configured as a simple ON/OFF switch. You can however over-ride the device type by going to the voice platform pages, eg Alexa & Google. Here you will find a config button beside the device type, click this to edit and change the device type.

You will be able to select either Light, Switch or Blind, then click Update. This will then update the platform to have this device presented as the chosen type.

Please note, Google will auto update the device in its platform, Alexa will require the device to be forgotten and then a Discovery performed to pickup the change.
