Starting from v0.426 of the automationbridge, you can now use an alias name for the any device, instead of the name setup in your Controller.
Navigate to the HomeKit page on the automationbridge, and you will find there is a new column for entering the Alias name, just enter a new name in the field, making sure to tab/click out of the field to ensure that the name is automatically updated.
In this example, we are going to update some device names, and then go thru the process to ensure that HomeKit has the new names.
Step 1 - Update some of the device names as needed, making sure to click the Restart HomeKit button when done.
You will now find that the device names have been updated in HomeKit.
If you want to go back to the original device name, just clear the Alias field.
