The automationbridge uses the Pushover platform to enable the sending of push notifications to your mobile device. This involves loading the Pushover app onto your mobile phone, this is available for both iOS and Android devices.
Please note this is a paid service from Pushover, pricing can be found here, and there is a 7 day trial, so that you can test out this platform with the automationbridge first.
Step 1 - Create an account at the Pushover website : https://pushover.net
Step 2 - Add the 'Pushover Notifications' App to your mobile device, by downloading it from the iOS App Store, or Google Play Store on your mobile device, and then login using the account created in Step 1.
Step 3 - On the Notifications page of the automationbridge, click the Enable button in the Pushover section of the page.
Step 4 - Link your Pushover account to your automationbridge, start this by clicking the Link button.
Step 5 - Enter your pushover account details (as created in Step 1) and click Login.
Step 6 - Adjust the subscription/device settings if required and then click the Subscribe Me button.
Step 7 - You will then be redirected back to your automationbridge, and you will need to enter a name for this device/account, generally just the name of the user, then click Next.
You will now find that the user and their devices are now listed in the Pushover section of the Notifications page.
From here you can;
Add additional users (following the same steps as above).
Perform a Sync, to pickup any new user devices that have been added to the Pushover account.
Perform a Test notification to all devices.
Disable the service if no longer required.
This completes the setup of the Pushover Notification service, and this can now be used to send notifications from your automationbridge.
