✅Fibaro HC2
✅Fibaro HCL

This guide assumes that you have already purchased the Efergy plugin from within the automationbridge interface, and that you have setup the Efergy device on your network and connected its sensor to your main power feed.

Step 1 - Add the plugin via the Network Devices/Plugins page

Step 2 - Follow the on-screen instructions to get your API Token, and enter it in the field, then click Next

Step 3 - The automationbridge will then connect to the Efergy Cloud and confirm that your token is valid.

At this stage if you have a spare z-wave switch or plug (a good idea is to use a dual fibaro switch module, for a single light, leaving the 2nd channel spare) you can select it, and the plugin will then update the power (watts) and kWh into that device, therefore making the energy usage part of the Fibaro Energy Panel.

Step 4 - The plugin will now be activated, and the VD added to your Fibaro controller. Click OK to proceed.

Now you will be taken to Settings page of the plugin, from here you can check that the plugin is connected to the Efergy Cloud, allowing you to update the token if required, change the name of the VD and modify the update device ID (this is the native fibaro z-wave device that is populated with the Energy Hub values)

You will also find that the VD has been added to your Fibaro controller, this VD will be updated every 60 seconds.

And if you go to the Variables Panel, you will find two ned variables have been added, these can then be used in Scenes and other logic as triggers.

An example used in a scene, when the power consumption is greater than 3kw (3000W) send an alert;
