✅Fibaro HC2
✅Fibaro HCL

This guide assumes that you have already purchased the Broadlink plugin from within the automationbridge interface, and that you have setup the RMpro device on your network.

Please note that this plugin currently only works with the RF sending & receiving functions of the Broadlink unit. IR functionality is not yet available.

- This plugin will only work with the RM2 pro device, only the RM2 pro + (the + model is a different device, and cannot be supported at this time). The RM3/4 Models are also not supported at this time.

- In order for the automationbridge to always communicate with the Broadlink RMpro, please have your device set to a static IP address.

On the Plugins page, click the Add button to setup your device.

Click the Discover button, this will search your network and confirm the connectivity to the RM pro device.

Once the device (or devices) have been found, they will be displayed on screen, you can give each an alias (name) for easy reference further in the setup process, just enter the Alias in the field, and click the Update button.

Now you are ready to add and learn the buttons on your first remote. To do this, just click the Add button in the Virtual Remotes section

Give the remote a name, and then click Next.

This will create the Virtual Remote, and also create the Virtual Device in your Fibaro controller, as you add/remove the individual buttons, it will update this Virtual Device.

Lets get started now and add our buttons, eg for a Blind they would be Open & Close.

Click on the Edit icon, to the right of the Remote name.

Now click the Add button, this will start the process to learn the RF code.

Enter the name for this button, if you have more than one RMpro device, please select the correct one from the drop down list, and then click Next.

The above message will appear, indicating that the system is in learning mode, and the orange light on the front of the RMpro unit will be lit.

Please now press and hold the button, for approx 2-3 seconds, and the RF code will be learnt.

The above message will be shown if the code was successfully received and saved, click OK to continue.

Now you can learn the other buttons for this remote as required. You will also have a TEST button, this will instruct the RMpro to send this RF code, to confirm that it was leant successfully, if it does not work, just delete the button using the X delete button to the right and then learn/add it again.

In your Fibaro controller, you will now find this as a Virtual Device, along with the buttons

These buttons can then be used in Scenes, or via LUA with the command

   fibaro:call({id}, "pressButton", "{button}")

where {id} is the ID number of this virtual device,

& {button} is the number of the required button to press, starting from 1 at the top and counting down. In the example above, Open = 1, Stop = 2 & Close = 3

If you have more remotes to learn, just repeat the above process, by adding another Virtual Remote.
